growing bellies, baby's laughter, and sleepovers

Well I am definitely pregnant. This week it really has hit me (I am now 8
weeks - right on target). Although I haven't officially thrown up I am
feeling like I can at any given moment. I have been wiped out and pretty
much fall asleep every night at 8, which means I am getting absolutely
nothing done. Paul has been traveling this week, which has made it even a
little tougher, but thankfully is back and should be for a little while.

I keep telling myself only 3-4 more weeks!

The kids are doing well, Grayson's friend Connor tried to have his first
sleep over here this past week. He made it until around 8 then said I want
to go home. Grayson was really bummed that he left but when I pointed out
would Grayson want to spend the night at Connor's all night, he seemed to
get it and stopped asking why Conner wanted to go.

Eme managed to make Dara (Rosie's daughter) laugh for the very first time,
and was the only one that was able to do so. This was a new found power for
Eme and she is now "born again" when it comes to babies. She absolutely
loves them and seeks them out much like Grayson always has, but she now gets
it. It's amazing the transformation especially when it comes to Anna, she
now willingly goes out of her way to share with Anna, to try and make her
laugh and to want to spend time with her. Who knew!

Anna is growing like a weed and in typical third kid fashion continues to
exude confidence in her abilities and enough independence to keep me sane.
She mimics with the best of them and loves to show everyone her Taekwondo
"blocks" and "kicks" it's so cute she steals the show. She also is the
official say goodbyer and everywhere we go she makes people's day by saying
goodbye as we are leaving (nothing quite makes someone's day like a 20 month old singling them out to say goodbye). Sometimes I fear she is going to end up with a
career of a parade princess. Anna also loves to combine her words and signs
to create stories. Her current favorite Non-Fiction "Cat Dead Mouse Daddy
Bye-Bye" (translated : the cat's killed a mouse and daddy cleaned it up).
And her current favorite Comedy "Daddy scared [of] caterpillar" (no
translation necessary, and no-fiction as well - at least I think so). She also loves music and one song in particular
called "me, you, we" she actually dances and sings along - we need to get
the video camera out for this one).

That's the latest from woodside. Ah now off to bed (my pillow is my biggest craving to date).....
